TVS Motor Company has officially launched its first adventure tourer — the TVS Apache RTX 300 — in India, at an introductory price starting from INR 1.99 lakh. The motorcycle is available in three variants — Base, Top, and BTO (Built To Order) — with prices going up to INR 2.29 lakh.
At the heart of the Apache RTX 300 is an all-new 299cc liquid-cooled, DOHC RT-XD4 engine, which produces 35.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, making it the second most powerful Apache after the RR 310. It features a 6-speed gearbox, assist and slipper clutch, and bi-directional quickshifter for smooth and precise performance.

Built on a new steel trellis frame, the RTX 300 features a WP inverted front fork and a monoshock with 180mm travel, ensuring excellent ride stability and comfort.
Braking is handled by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, while ground clearance stands at 200mm. The adventure tourer weighs 180 kg (kerb) and offers a seat height of 835mm, making it accessible for most riders.

The RTX 300 gets four riding modes — Urban, Rain, Tour, and Rally — along with cruise control, switchable traction control, and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.
Through TVS SmartXonnect, riders can access Google Maps mirroring, call and SMS alerts, ride analytics, and more. Higher variants also include adjustable suspension and tyre pressure monitoring (TPMS).

In terms of design, the Apache RTX 300 looks every bit the modern ADV — muscular, tall, and adventure-ready. It comes equipped with all-LED lighting, a large windscreen, and block-pattern dual-sport tyres on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. The bike is offered in five colour options — Viper Green, Metallic Blue, Pearl White, Lightning Black, and Tarn Bronze.
For touring enthusiasts, TVS has collaborated with Givi to offer a range of accessories such as panniers, top boxes, and tank bags. The brand has also partnered with Alpinestars for co-branded adventure riding gear, including helmets, gloves, and boots.

With its feature-loaded package, new engine, and aggressive pricing, the TVS Apache RTX 300 goes up against the KTM 250 Adventure, Suzuki V-Strom SX, and Yezdi Adventure, setting a new benchmark in India’s mid-size adventure motorcycle segment.
