Nevo is a new electric vehicle marque under Changan Automobile, positioned separately from the automaker’s other brands. However, in global markets, its vehicles are marketed under the Deepal Nevo name, including the Q05. In Nepal, the Q05 joins the Deepal line-up as the most affordable model from the brand, with two variants available.

Here’s a closer look at the Deepal Nevo Q05 price in Nepal, its two variants and what separates the Max from the Ultra.

Deepal Nevo Q05 Max Variant

The Deepal Nevo Q05 Max is the entry-level variant and is priced at Rs. 48.99 lakh in Nepal. It uses a 51.9 kWh LFP battery paired with a 120 kW (163 hp) electric motor. The motor drives the front wheels, while the claimed NEDC driving range stands at 462 km.

The Max comes with a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.17-inch digital instrument cluster. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, while the front passenger seat gets manual four-way adjustment.

The safety and driver-assistance equipment includes a Level 2 ADAS system and a 3D around-view camera with a transparent chassis function, providing a 540-degree view around the vehicle.. The battery supports up to 162 kW DC fast charging, with a claimed charging time of 15 minutes to take the battery from 30 to 80 percent.

Deepal Nevo Q05 Ultra Variant

The Deepal Nevo Q05 Ultra is the top variant and is priced at Rs. 51.99 lakh, making it Rs. 3 lakh more expensive than the Max.

The Ultra retains the same 51.9 kWh LFP battery, 120 kW (163 hp) motor, front-wheel-drive system and 462 km claimed NEDC range.

The differences are mainly in the equipment list. The Ultra gets 18-inch alloy wheels compared with the 17-inch wheels on the Max. It also features electric foldable side door mirrors, a rain sensor and a power tailgate with an anti-pinch function.

Inside, the front passenger seat gets electric four-way adjustment, while the front seats are ventilated. Other additions include a driver seat entry/exit function, 256-colour ambient lighting and a 50W wireless charging pad. The Ultra also gets side curtain airbags and additional ADAS functions over the Max.

While both variants share the same core electric powertrain, battery capacity, range and charging capability, the Q05 Ultra adds several extra comfort, convenience and equipment features over the Max. The key differences are outlined below.
