TVS Motor Company is set to debut the Apache RTR 310 at the upcoming NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, marking the entry of its flagship naked streetfighter in the Nepalese market.
However, it remains uncertain whether the brand will launch the recently updated 2025 model or the earlier version, which could influence both pricing and feature availability.
Powering the Apache RTR 310 is a 312cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that continues to deliver 35.6 bhp and 28.7 Nm of torque. While the core engine output remains unchanged across both versions, TVS has worked on refining throttle response on the 2025 model.
If TVS opts to bring the latest 2025 version, customers in Nepal could benefit from significant upgrades. One of the most notable upgrade is Drag Torque Control, a feature that helps reduce rear-wheel hop during aggressive downshifts or engine braking—enhancing stability and rider control when pushing the limits.
The 2025 model also introduces a range of new features that raise the RTR 310’s tech appeal. It becomes the first Made-in-India motorcycle with keyless ignition, and now includes a transparent clutch cover, knuckle guards, and sequential turn indicators as standard equipment. Cosmetic updates include a striking new red paint scheme, further distinguishing it from the outgoing model.
Regardless of the variant, the Apache RTR 310 maintains its aggressive streetfighter design language, characterized by sharp bodywork, a minimalistic yet muscular stance, and an exposed steel trellis frame paired with a lightweight aluminum subframe. The bike features a split LED headlamp whose brightness dynamically adjusts with speed, a flat one-piece handlebar, and a compact tail section with a split-style LED tail light that responds to hard braking.
The RTR 310 comes equipped with gold-finished upside-down front forks, a preload-adjustable rear monoshock, and petal disc brakes at both ends, ensuring confident braking and stability. Dual-channel ABS is offered as standard. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch, eight-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Road 5 dual-compound radial tyres, designed to enhance grip and cornering capability.
In terms of features, the bike sports a 5-inch full-color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, ride telemetry, and turn-by-turn navigation. Riders can choose from five riding modes—Street, Rain, Road, Race, and Supermoto—while additional advanced features include cruise control, a bi-directional quickshifter (optional on the base variant), ride-by-wire throttle, Slope Dependent Control, and Front Wheel Off Control, offering a highly refined and versatile riding experience.
As anticipation builds ahead of the Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, it remains to be seen whether Nepalese riders will receive the cutting-edge 2025 update or the earlier iteration of the Apache RTR 310. Either way, the model promises to shake up the premium naked motorcycle space in Nepal.
