India-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ultraviolette Automotive, which also has a presence in Nepal, has introduced UVLYNC, a Type 2 charging adapter designed to enable electric two-wheelers to charge at any electric car AC charging station. This device isn’t limited to Ultraviolette’s F77 model—it’s compatible with all electric two-wheelers
Designed for convenience, the UVLYNC is a compact and versatile Type 2 charging interface that connects to standard two- or three-pin sockets, allowing riders to charge their electric two-wheelers at car charging stations.
With its portable design, the UVLYNC serves as a seamless link between an electric two-wheeler’s charging port and a Type 2 charging gun.
The setup is straightforward: first, connect the vehicle’s portable charger to its charging port. Then, plug the 3-pin connector into the UVLYNC’s socket. Finally, attach the UVLYNC interface to the Type 2 charging gun to begin charging.
Priced at INR 2,999, the UVLYNC is available for purchase on Ultraviolette’s official website.
