Ather Nepal Opens 16th Experience Center in Surkhet

Ather Nepal has expanded its nationwide electric mobility network with the opening of its 16th Experience Center at Birendra–12, Airport Chowk, Surkhet, on Ashoj 5, 2083.

The new facility brings Ather’s electric scooters, technology and ownership experience closer to customers in Surkhet and the wider Karnali region.

The new Experience Center will allow customers to explore Ather’s latest electric scooters, including the Ather 450 series and Ather Rizta, with product demonstrations and test rides.

The Ather 450 series is positioned around performance, technology and everyday practicality. The latest models feature technologies such as Magic Twist, Infinite Cruise and Voice Interactions, designed to make the riding experience more intuitive and convenient.

Magic Twist allows riders to control deceleration through the accelerator grip, reducing the need to frequently use the brakes. Infinite Cruise allows riders to maintain a set speed for greater convenience on longer rides, while Voice Interactions enable riders to operate supported scooter functions through voice commands.

The Ather Rizta, meanwhile, is designed around family-oriented urban mobility. It focuses on comfort and practicality, featuring a longer seat and a design aimed at making everyday family commuting more convenient.

With electric mobility adoption expanding beyond Nepal’s major cities, Ather Nepal is also working to strengthen its ownership ecosystem across the country.

Ather’s Eight70 Battery Warranty provides coverage for up to 8 years or 80,000 km, whichever comes first. Under the applicable warranty terms, battery replacement is covered if battery health falls below 70%.

Ather Nepal currently has a growing network of 10+ authorised service centres and 50+ fast-charging points across Nepal. The expansion of this network is aimed at providing customers with greater access to charging and after-sales support while addressing concerns around range and charging availability.

The new Surkhet Experience Center therefore represents more than an expansion of Ather’s retail presence. It brings the brand’s electric scooters, service support and ownership ecosystem closer to customers in Karnali.
