The Q05 has a 2,735 mm wheelbase and 86.6 percent cabin-space utilisation, providing room for up to three adults in the rear. The rear seatbacks offer two reclining positions of 28 and 33 degrees, while the seats feature a nine-layer ergonomic construction.

Practicality is further supported by a 540-litre dual-level boot, including 90 litres of concealed storage. The cabin also features up to 29 storage spaces, while Changan says more than 67 points have been addressed for sound insulation and noise reduction.

Selected variants can also be equipped with a 1.8-square-metre panoramic glass roof with a powered sunshade, adding to the cabin’s open and spacious feel.

In terms of design, the Q05 was developed under the leadership of Klaus Zyciora, Changan Global Design Vice-President and former Head of Design at Volkswagen Group. More than 915 design professionals from 31 countries contributed to its development.

The SUV follows Changan’s Fuguang design philosophy, with an aerodynamic profile featuring a drag coefficient of 0.265 Cd. Its exterior highlights include the Digital Wing 2.0 full-width lighting signature, star-ring matrix LED taillights and semi-hidden door handles. Changan says the Q05 was also recognised with the 2026 Golden A’ Design Award.

The Nevo Q05 uses CATL battery cells integrated with Changan’s Golden Shield Battery 2.0 technology. Its 3C fast-charging system supports DC charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30 to 80 percent in approximately 15 minutes under suitable conditions.

Power comes from a 120 kW electric motor, enabling the Q05 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.1 seconds. The SUV has a claimed 405 km WLTC range, while energy consumption is rated at 12.9 kWh per 100 km.

Inside, the Q05 features a 14.6-inch 1080P touchscreen powered by an automotive-grade MTK8675 processor based on a seven-nanometre architecture. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available.

Depending on the variant, the Q05 can be equipped with up to 18 driver-assistance functions and a 540-degree panoramic viewing system, adding to its technology and safety package.

The Nevo Q05 was unveiled at a launch event in Pokhara attended by Shova Gautam, President of Pokhara Chamber of Commerce and Industries, as Chief Guest. Special guests included Durbha Thapa, former NADA President, and Niran K.C., Vice President of WADA, along with Deepal Ambassador Pradeep Khadka, MAW Vriddhi Autocorp Director Parth Sikaria, and CEO Gyanendra Bahadur Chand.
