The Triumph Speed 400 has received its first official price hike following the end of its introductory pricing period. The price has increased by Rs 10,000, bringing the updated price to Rs 6,49,900.
The Triumph Scrambler 400X also saw a similar price revision in January 2025, rising by Rs 10,000 to a new price of Rs 6,99,900.
Both bikes were initially launched at the 2024 NADA Auto Show. At launch, the Scrambler 400X was priced at Rs 6,89,900, while the Speed 400 debuted at Rs 6,39,900.
The Speed 400 is powered by a 398.15cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 39 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. With a 790mm seat height and a weight of 170 kg, the Speed 400 features 43mm upside-down forks and roadster-style geometry.
In terms of features, the Speed 400 comes equipped with full LED lighting, bar-end mirrors, adjustable levers, switchable traction control, and Bosch dual-channel ABS. While its semi-digital instrument cluster lacks smartphone connectivity and navigation, it does include useful features like a gear position indicator and distance-to-empty readout. A USB-C charging port is also integrated into the handlebar for added convenience.
