CG | Motocorp, the authorized distributor of Suzuki vehicles in Nepal, has showcased the all-electric Suzuki eVitara at the NADA Auto Show 2025, marking the brand’s first entry into Nepal’s growing EV SUV segment. While the eVitara is yet to be launched in Nepal or India, it will come in two battery options for the Indian market.
The entry-level version pairs a 49 kWh battery with a front-mounted motor producing 144 hp and 189 Nm of torque. The higher-spec variant features a 61 kWh battery delivering 174 hp with the same torque, offering a real-world range of over 500 km under MIDC testing. Suzuki is also planning an all-wheel-drive (AWD) model, adding a 65 hp rear motor to produce 184 hp and 300 Nm of torque for enhanced versatility.
Inside, the eVitara combines comfort and technology with a twin-deck floating console, ambient lighting, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, a 10.1-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a premium Harman audio system. Comfort features include ventilated front seats, a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat, and reclining rear seats with a 40:20:40 split.
Safety has been prioritized with a body built from over 50% high-tensile steel, seven airbags, Level 2 ADAS features such as lane assist and autonomous emergency braking, all-wheel disc brakes, electronic parking brake with auto hold, TPMS, and an emergency call system.
Measuring 4,275 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,640 mm high, with a 2,700 mm wheelbase, the eVitara firmly enters the midsize SUV segment, ready to compete with the Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Curvv EV, and Mahindra BE 6 once launched.
