Ora 5, Jolion Max EV Deliveries Move Ahead as GWM Nepal Uses Korala Route

VG Impex Pvt. Ltd., the authorized importer and distributor of GWM vehicles in Nepal, has started advancing delivery preparations for the Ora 5 EV and Haval Jolion Max EV as customer interest in the company’s latest electric models continues to grow.

The company said deliveries of booked vehicles are being processed progressively, with efforts focused on maintaining a smooth and organized handover process for customers.

Following the disruption of the Rasuwagadhi route due to flooding in the Bhotekoshi area, VG Impex has turned to the Korala border point as an alternative route for transporting vehicles into Nepal. According to the company, the alternative route has helped keep vehicle transportation and delivery operations moving despite the disruption.

The Haval Jolion Max EV, unveiled at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, is GWM’s second fully electric SUV in Nepal after the Ora 5. It was introduced at an introductory price of Rs 59.99 lakh.

Both the Ora 5 and Jolion Max EV have reportedly received strong interest from Nepali customers. The company attributes the response to factors including their modern styling, electric powertrains and premium positioning in the Nepali EV market.

VG Impex said customer bookings are being processed in phases, with further information on delivery schedules expected to be announced soon. The company is also working to streamline the logistics involved in moving and delivering the vehicles amid the ongoing route challenges.

Beyond its current EV lineup, GWM Nepal is looking to expand its presence in the market with additional premium and luxury models. The company says it remains focused on bringing technology-driven and globally competitive GWM products to Nepali customers.
