The highly anticipated NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025 officially commenced today at Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall in the capital city, marking a major milestone in Nepal’s evolving automotive landscape. The five-day event was inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, in the presence of key industry stakeholders, government representatives, and mobility enthusiasts from across the country.
During the inauguration ceremony, Ritu Singh Vaidya, Chairperson of NAIMA, highlighted the transformative potential of the event and urged policymakers to ensure long-term policy consistency in the automotive sector. “This expo is more than just a showcase of vehicles— it’s a platform for dialogue, innovation, and national progress. We call upon all stakeholders to work towards a predictable and future-ready mobility policy,” she emphasized.

Commending the organizers for hosting what he described as a “grand and forward-thinking show,” Minister Paudelreaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting policy stability that encourages sustainable growth in the auto and mobility sector.

While the NADA Auto Show has long been the sole major event for the country’s auto industry, NAIMA’s Nepal Mobility Expo introduces a fresh and more comprehensive approach. Scheduled from August 6 to 10, the expo features over 50 leading automotive brands and places a strong emphasis on innovation, electrification, and inclusive mobility solutions.
Whether you're a car aficionado, two-wheeler enthusiast, commercial mobility professional, or simply curious about the future of transportation, the event offers something for everyone.

The expo is being held at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Hall, Kathmandu’s premier venue for large-scale events. Located beside Kathmandu Fun Park and opposite Mahendra Police Club, the site is both familiar and accessible.
Tickets are available digitally through Khalti Digital Wallet at Rs. 200 for the general public and Rs. 100 for students (with valid ID or uniform). Importantly, 5% of ticket proceeds will go toward scholarships and research fellowships in the mobility sector through a collaboration between NAIMA, the Ministry of Education, and CTEVT.

Parking has been arranged for both two-wheelers (within the venue) and four-wheelers (at the Nepal Police Club and rear of the exhibition hall). Pathao, the official ride-sharing partner, is offering up to 30% discounts on rides to the venue during expo days.
