Chinese EV maker Leapmotor has officially revealed its flagship D19 full-sized SUV, the first model built on the brand’s advanced D platform.
Scheduled to hit the Chinese market in the first half of 2026, the D19 is available in both pure electric (EV) and extended-range electric (EREV) variants, catering to long-distance travel and high-altitude adventures.
The SUV’s large dimensions—over 5.2 meters long, nearly 2 meters wide, and a wheelbase exceeding 3.1 meters—give it a commanding road presence.
The D19 EV impresses with a 115-kWh battery pack, offering a remarkable CLTC range of up to 720 km, while the D19 EREV comes equipped with an 80.3-kWh battery, delivering up to 500 km on electric power alone.

Both variants feature Leapmotor’s dual Qualcomm Snapdragon 8797 chips, ensuring responsive performance and advanced onboard computing.
The EREV’s 400 kW powertrain enables acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in under 5 seconds, while the BEV variant pushes 540 kW, reaching 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds.

Leapmotor has also equipped the D19 with an industry-first onboard oxygen generator, capable of producing 8 liters of oxygen per minute. This feature is particularly suited for travelers exploring high-altitude regions such as Tibet.
In terms of design, the D19 adopts Leapmotor’s “Technology Natural Aesthetics 2.0” language. The front end features a three-stage headlight cluster that doubles as a projector, a dynamic lower grille that automatically opens and closes based on driving conditions, and a lidar sensor mounted on the roof.

With its long-range capability, high-performance powertrains, onboard oxygen system, and striking design, the Leapmotor D19 positions itself as a flagship electric SUV that’s ready for both urban cruising and adventurous expeditions.
