The Jaecoo J6T has received a price revision in the Nepali market, with its updated price increased from Rs 68.99 lakh to Rs 69.99 lakh.
The adjustment comes just months after its official launch.The update reflects revised tax policies, including customs duty changes, Clean Infrastructure Investment Tax, and exchange rate fluctuations affecting EV pricing.
The Jaecoo J6T was introduced in Nepal in March 2026 at a launch price of Rs 68.99 lakh, along with a limited introductory offer of Rs 66.99 lakh for early buyers.
It entered the market as an updated long-range variant of the Jaecoo J6 and effectively replaces it, while retaining the brand’s boxy, upright design language and introducing subtle refinements that give it a more rugged and utilitarian character.
In terms of performance, the rear-wheel-drive J6T comes powered by an electric motor producing 135 kW and 220 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 65.69 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery supplied by CATL, delivering a claimed driving range of up to 431 km.
The SUV supports DC fast charging of up to 130 kW and AC charging at 6.6 kW via a CCS2 interface, making it suitable for both urban commuting and longer highway journeys. It is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.5 seconds, with a top speed rated at 150 km/h.
In terms of dimensions, the Jaecoo J6T measures 4,433 mm in length, 1,916 mm in width, and 1,741 mm in height, with a 2,715 mm wheelbase. Ground clearance stands at 225 mm, up from the standard Jaecoo J6, and the SUV is equipped with 19-inch wheels.
Inside, it features a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless charging, and an eight-speaker audio system. The Jaecoo J6T is offered in five exterior colour options: Urban Grey, Platinum Silver, Arctic White, Night Black, and Tornado Red.
