Ather Opens 13th Experience Center in Dharan

Ather Energy has expanded its retail network in Nepal with the opening of a new Experience Center in Dharan-1, Chaata Chowk.  

The Dharan outlet becomes Ather’s 13th Experience Center in Nepal, adding to its existing presence in Kathmandu, Pokhara, Chitwan, Itahari, Butwal, Janakpur, Birgunj and Birtamod.

The new center will display Ather’s current electric scooter range, including the 450 series and Rizta. Customers can also experience the scooters through test rides. The latest 450X Overtone Series is also being introduced at the Dharan outlet.

Ather’s newer 450 platform features technologies such as Magic Twist for throttle-based deceleration, Infinite Cruise for cruising, and voice interaction features. The Rizta, meanwhile, is positioned around practicality and comfort, targeting everyday and family-oriented use.

The company says it had received more than 25 bookings from the Dharan area even before the Experience Center officially opened, indicating early interest in its scooters in eastern Nepal.

Ather has also introduced an opening-period scheme valid until September 8, 2026. Customers can choose from an extended battery warranty, 50 percent down payment with zero interest, or an additional valuation of Rs 8,000.

Beyond its sales network, Ather has been expanding its ownership infrastructure in Nepal. Its Eight70 battery warranty provides coverage for eight years or 80,000 km, with a stated assurance of maintaining 70 percent battery health. The company currently has more than 10 authorised service centers and over 50 fast-charging locations across the country.

The Dharan outlet gives customers in the eastern region direct access to Ather’s products, test rides and after-sales support as the company continues expanding its electric scooter network across Nepal.
