Wuling, under the SGMW joint venture, has introduced the Bingo S — a fully electric compact SUV designed to challenge the popular BYD Dolphin. This new model marks the third entry in the Wuling Bingo lineup.
Reflecting the design language of the Bingo series, the Bingo S sports a rounded profile, vintage-inspired triangular headlights, a trapezoidal front bumper highlighted with silver trim, and a full-width rear light bar.
Along the sides, the Bingo S features a dual-tone exterior with blacked-out A, B, and C pillars, adding to its streamlined appearance. Traditional door handles are retained, and the fast and slow charging ports are neatly integrated into the left front fender.
The Bingo S is a five-seater with dimensions of 4265 mm in length, 1785 mm in width, and 1600 mm in height, resting on a 2610 mm wheelbase — the same as the Bingo Plus. However, the Bingo S is slightly larger overall. Its kerb weight stands at 1325 kg.
The Bingo S is equipped with an electric motor producing 75 kW (101 hp), coupled with a lithium iron phosphate battery. It can achieve a maximum speed of 150 km/h. However, information about the battery’s capacity and the vehicle’s driving range has yet to be revealed.
In our market, the Binguo EV is offered with a 31.9 kWh Lithium-ion Phosphate battery pack to provide a range of up to 333 kilometers on a single charge. In terms of features, the Binguo EV boasts perforated leatherette seats, a dual 10-inch infotainment screen, cruise control, electric driver seats, and numerous safety features such as dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and hill hold assist.
