The XEV 9S is Mahindra’s largest electric SUV to date and is also the brand’s first dedicated three-row EV. Its seven-seat configuration gives it a stronger focus on family-oriented buyers looking for additional passenger capacity and interior space.

In terms of design, the XEV 9S shares a similar overall silhouette with the XUV700, but gets a distinctive electric vehicle identity. It features a closed-off front grille, a full-width LED light bar and vertically stacked LED headlamps at the front. Flush-fitting door handles and aerodynamic alloy wheels further enhance its EV-focused design.

At the rear, the XEV 9S gets distinctive L-shaped LED tail lamps, giving the SUV a recognizable lighting signature. The overall design combines the proportions of a large SUV with aerodynamic elements designed to improve efficiency.

Inside, the XEV 9S features a technology-focused cabin dominated by a triple-screen dashboard. The setup integrates the digital driver’s display, central infotainment system and a dedicated front passenger display, giving the cabin a modern and connected layout.

With its seven-seat layout, up to 450 km claimed range, powerful electric motors and technology-focused cabin, the Mahindra XEV 9S further expands the choice of larger electric SUVs available in Nepal.
