The rear-wheel-drive J6T continued to be powered by an electric motor producing 135 kW and 220 Nm of torque. It uses a 65.69 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery supplied by CATL, with an improved driving range of 431 km, although the range cycle used for this figure has not been specified. Charging options include DC fast charging of up to 130 kW and AC charging at 6.6 kW, using a CCS2 interface.

Ground clearance has been increased to 225 mm, compared to 200 mm in the previous J6, and the SUV is fitted with 19-inch wheels.

Inside, the J6T features a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless charging pad, and an eight-speaker audio system. It is offered in five exterior color options: Urban Grey, Platinum Silver, Arctic White, Night Black, and Tornado Red.

Compared to the earlier J6, the updates in the J6T are primarily in ground clearance and driving range. The new model reflects a continuation of the existing platform with modest revisions rather than a comprehensive redesign.
