BMW has unveiled the all-new iX3, the first model in its Neue Klasse series, at IAA Mobility in Munich.
The fully electric SUV will initially be offered in the iX3 50 xDrive variant, featuring two electric motors producing a combined 345 kW (469 hp) and 645 Nm of torque, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds.
It is equipped with a 108.7 kWh high-voltage battery providing a range of up to 805 km under WLTP conditions, and supports fast charging at up to 400 kW, enabling 372 km of range in just ten minutes.

The new iX3 introduces BMW’s Panoramic iDrive system, integrating displays, controls, and infotainment into a single, driver-focused interface, while the interior offers spacious seating, minimalist design, and advanced connectivity. Its sixth-generation BMW eDrive technology improves efficiency, range, and charging speed, while bidirectional charging functions allow the SUV to power devices, homes, and even the grid.

The vehicle’s electronics architecture is built around four high-performance computers that manage driving dynamics, automated driving, infotainment, and comfort functions. Advanced driver assistance systems include hands-off motorway driving, city traffic support, and adaptive cruise control.

The iX3 also features aerodynamic design, a drag coefficient of 0.24, and a cargo capacity of up to 1,750 litres with rear seats folded.
Production of the new BMW iX3 will begin at the Debrecen plant in Hungary in autumn 2025, with European deliveries starting in spring 2026, followed by launches in the U.S. and China later the same year. A launch in Nepal is also confirmed for next year.
