Bajaj Pulsar 180 Returns to India with Updated Features

After an absence of nearly three years, Bajaj Auto has reintroduced the Pulsar 180 in the Indian market, bringing back one of its long-standing nameplates with a set of modern updates.

The latest iteration incorporates several feature upgrades seen on the updated Pulsar 150. It now comes equipped with LED headlamps and turn indicators, along with a fully digital LCD instrument cluster that offers Bluetooth connectivity. A USB charging port has also been added, enhancing everyday usability.

In terms of power, the Pulsar 180 continues to use a 178.6 cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. This unit delivers 16.7 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 15 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox.  While the power output remains unchanged, the torque figure has been slightly improved over the previous version.

The motorcycle retains its existing hardware setup, featuring telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Braking is managed by a 280 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear, supported by ABS. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with tubeless tyres.

Dimensionally, the bike measures 2,035 mm in length and has a wheelbase of 1,340 mm, with a ground clearance of 165 mm. It carries a 15-litre fuel tank and has a kerb weight of approximately 165 kg.

The Pulsar 180 is available in a single variant and comes in five colour options: black-blue, black-gold, black-grey, black-red, and white.
