Tata Motors has released a teaser video revealing the design of the next-generation Tiago and Tiago EV ahead of their official launch scheduled for May 28 in India.
The preview showcases significant exterior updates while the overall proportions of the hatchback remain largely unchanged.
The front profile of the new Tiago has been extensively redesigned. It now features a slim gloss-black fascia, a pair of full-LED headlamps with integrated daytime running lights, and a revised bumper with a larger, more aggressive air intake. Aerodynamic elements have also been enhanced, giving the hatchback a sharper and more modern appearance.
At the rear, the model receives connected LED tail lamps, a redesigned tailgate, a new bumper, a roof spoiler, and a shark-fin antenna.
Side details include black ORVMs with integrated indicators and newly designed dual-tone alloy wheels. The Tiago EV, meanwhile, adopts a distinct identity with a body-coloured front fascia, differentiating it clearly from the ICE version.

While Tata has not yet revealed the interior, the feature list is expected to include a larger touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a 360-degree camera, and wireless charging.
On the safety front, the new Tiago is likely to be equipped with six airbags, along with features such as ESP, TPMS, rear parking sensors, hill hold control, and ISOFIX child seat mounts.

Mechanically, the internal combustion engine (ICE) version is expected to remain unchanged, continuing with the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, along with a CNG option.
The Tiago EV is expected to receive key upgrades, including a larger battery pack, improved driving range, faster DC charging capability, and a more powerful electric motor compared to the outgoing model.

With these updates, Tata Motors aims to strengthen its entry-level ICE and EV lineup in a highly competitive segment.
