CG Motors has officially launched the XPeng X9, a luxury electric MPV, in Nepal.
Available in two variants priced at Rs 2.20 crore and Rs 2.30 crore, the X9 targets families and tech-savvy buyers seeking a spacious, high-performance electric vehicle.
The XPeng X9 measures 5,293 mm in length, 1,988 mm in width, and 1,785 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160 mm. It accommodates seven passengers comfortably and offers a 755-liter trunk, expandable with the third-row seats folded.
With a kerb weight of 2,555 kg, the MPV features a front-wheel-drive system powered by a 235 kW PMSM motor producing 450 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 7.7 seconds and has a top speed of 200 km/h.
The vehicle runs on an 84.5 kWh LFP battery, providing a WLTP-certified range of 500 km and an energy consumption rate of 16.2 kWh per 100 km. Its aerodynamic design, with a drag coefficient of 0.236, contributes to both efficiency and performance.
The cabin focuses on luxury and technology, with premium materials, ample storage, and dual passenger and central control screens.
A standout feature is the XPILOT 2.5 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), powered by NVIDIA DRIVE Orin. It integrates multiple cameras, millimeter-wave and ultrasonic radars, and a high-precision positioning unit.
The system enables adaptive cruise control, lane centering, intelligent speed assistance, enhanced parking aids, and a comprehensive safety suite including forward collision prevention, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, intelligent high beam, and driver state monitoring.
