TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad have reached a major milestone, producing over 200,000 motorcycles since their partnership began in 2013. The announcement coincides with the start of production for the BMW F 450 GS at TVS’s Hosur facility in Tamil Nadu.
The collaboration has previously delivered models such as the BMW G 310 R, G 310 GS, and G 310 RR, which have become key contributors to BMW’s global growth. These motorcycles are sold across more than 100 markets worldwide.

The new BMW F 450 GS, unveiled at EICMA 2025, replaces the G 310 GS as the entry point to BMW’s GS line-up. It features a 420cc parallel-twin engine that produces 48 hp at 8,750rpm and 43 Nm of torque at 6,750rpm, combining performance with versatility for everyday and adventure riding.

Both companies emphasized that the partnership continues to focus on innovation, new platforms, and future-ready technologies. The joint R&D efforts aim to meet evolving customer needs while maintaining the quality, performance, and reliability that define the TVS-BMW alliance.
