Tata Motors, in collaboration with Sipradi Trading P. Ltd, has introduced the Nexon K3.ev in Nepal, priced at Rs 48.99 Lakh. This updated version of the Nexon EV, named the Nexon K3.ev for our market, will be available in a single variant: the Empowered LR (Long Range).
But this isn’t just a typical facelift with minor cosmetic and feature updates; Tata Motors has also made significant mechanical improvements to the Nexon EV, boosting its range.
The Nexon K3.ev features a 45kWh battery pack that enables faster charging at 1.2C rating and offers a real-world range of 325 km, based on testing conducted in our market. Powered by a 98 kW electric motor, it delivers 215 Nm of torque. The electric SUV offers three drive modes—Eco, City, and Sport—and includes a four-level brake regeneration system.
In terms of design, the Nexon K3.ev adopts a more contemporary and stylish look with a sleeker grille, connected LED DRLs and tail lights, a split headlamp setup, and reworked bumpers. It also features new 16-inch alloy wheels with an aerodynamic design. It will be offered in five different shades - empowered oxide, pristine white, daytona grey, flame red and intensi teal.
Inside, the cabin boasts a fresh dual-tone color scheme, a redesigned dashboard, slimmer AC vents, and a touch-enabled AC control panel. To enhance the cabin experience, the electric SUV also gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen with an updated user interface, a new two-spoke illuminated steering wheel, a customizable 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster with navigation, and touch-based HVAC controls with toggle switches.
The Nexon K3.ev also enhances its safety features, now equipped with six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, front parking sensors, ESC, ISOFIX child seat mounts, automatic headlights, and rain-sensing wipers.
The company has also opened bookings for the Nexon K3.ev in Nepal.
