SPG Automobiles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Omoda & Jaecoo vehicles in Nepal, has officially signed Rohit Paudel, Captain of the Nepal National Cricket Team, as its new brand ambassador. The announcement was made during a special celebration and Jaecoo J5 electric SUV handover ceremony, which also recognized existing brand ambassador and national cricket star Dipendra Singh Airee.

The event followed the successful conclusion of the Nepal Premier League Season 2, where Rohit Paudel led the Lumbini Lions to their first-ever championship title. For his outstanding performance throughout the tournament, Rohit was named the “Electrifying Player of the Tournament.” To honor this achievement, SPG Automobiles presented him with the all-new Jaecoo J5 electric SUV. The company also announced that it will bear the full windfall tax applicable to the prize vehicle, ensuring Rohit receives the award without any financial obligation.
