Nebula Energy and Gogoro Inc Launch First Experience Center and Battery-Swapping Plan in Nepal

Gogoro currently offers three electric scooters in Nepal: the Jego, Crossover GX250, and Pulse with a battery swapping plan starting at NRs 799 for 30 days.

Nebula Energy and Gogoro Inc, a leading global technology company in battery-swapping ecosystems, have officially opened their first Experience Center in Narayanchaur, Naxal. Gogoro currently offers three electric scooters in Nepal: the Jego, Crossover GX250, and Pulse.

The Gogoro Jego, priced at Rs 2,29,900, features a sleek design and incorporates Gogoro's key innovations. It includes dual battery options for enhanced speed and range, a spacious trunk, a comfortable extended seat, and a lightweight build for easy manoeuvrability.

The Gogoro CrossOver GX250, available for Rs 2,74,900, is Gogoro's first locally manufactured Smart Scooter, produced in Maharashtra, India. It boasts a redesigned all-terrain frame that enhances rigidity and comfort while offering various storage, riding, and customization options. The new frame significantly improves suspension durability and supports larger loads, prioritizing comfort and stability.

At Rs 5,99,900, the Gogoro Pulse is the world's first hyper-electric scooter, exemplifying Gogoro's innovative capabilities. It features an advanced aerodynamic design, a new 9kW powertrain, revolutionary adaptive active-matrix lighting, and a panoramic high-definition touchscreen display.

The Pulse is powered by Gogoro’s new HyperDrive powertrain, designed to boost performance while minimizing energy consumption. Central to Hyper Drive is the high-performance H1 motor, a completely reengineered electric power plant, along with Hypercore, a smart system providing advanced traction control and 378Nm of torque at the rear wheel.

The Hyper Drive system also includes a hybrid water and air dual-cooling mechanism. This enables the Pulse to achieve impressive performance metrics, such as accelerating from 0 to 50 km/h in just 3.05 seconds, with a maximum power output of 9.0 kW, a maximum RPM of 11,000, and 378 Nm of torque at the rear wheel.

Along with the Experience Center, Gogoro has launched an innovative battery-swapping plan in Nepal to meet the diverse needs of its customers, including students, professionals, and commuters. The battery swapping plan starts at NRs 799 for 30 days, with multiple options available to accommodate various mobility requirements.

Speaking at the inauguration, Mr. Manoj Goyal, Chairman of Nebula Energy, reaffirmed his commitment to supporting Nepal’s zero-emission goals through the new era of sustainable mobility and technology in partnership with Gogoro. He emphasized that this Experience Center marks just the beginning of Gogoro's and Nebula's long-term vision for sustainable mobility.

Adding to the statement, Managing Director Mr. Sahayu Goyal emphasized that the widespread adoption of electric vehicles in the two-wheeler segment must be driven by technology. He highlighted that Gogoro's range of scooters, powered by battery-swapping technology, offers a unique solution to the key challenges consumers face when considering an electric two-wheeler. 

Mr Chiranjibi Shah, General Manager, noted that this Experience Center is the first direct touchpoint for customers to experience Gogoro's technology through its smart scooters and Swap stations. He also announced that customers can now test-ride their favorite Gogoro models and learn about the various battery-swapping plans to make pre-bookings.
