Shangrila Motors Pvt. Ltd., the exclusive authorized importer of Leapmotor vehicles in Nepal, has announced that Leapmotor has maintained its position as the top NEV (New Energy Vehicle) startup in China for the second month in a row based on delivery figures.
In April alone, Leapmotor led the segment with 41,039 vehicles delivered, making it the only NEV startup to surpass the 40,000 mark that month. From January to April, the company has recorded a total of 128,591 vehicle deliveries.
Currently, the brand has a total of six models on sale in the Chinese market, including the T03, C01, C11, C16, B01, and C10. Similarly, in our market, the brand offers the C10 premium SUV and the T03 electric hatchback.
The Leapmotor C10 is powered by a rear-wheel-drive system and a 160 kW electric motor, paired with a 69.9 kWh LFP battery that offers a range of up to 420 kilometers (WLTP). It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds, with a top speed of 170 km/h. Charging from 30% to 80% takes 6.1 hours, but with fast charging, this can be reduced to just 30 minutes.
The Leapmotor T03, starting at Rs. 28.99 lakh, features a 37.3 kWh battery with a WLTP range of 395 km in an urban cycle, along with Level 2 Advanced LEAP Pilot Driver Active Safety Assistance.
