Leapmotor has revealed the updated 2026 version of its C10 electric SUV in China, featuring significant upgrades to its powertrain and onboard tech. While the C10 has already made a strong impression in Nepal, the arrival of the new model is likely to generate even more interest.
The new Leapmotor C10 retains its familiar design and dimensions (4739 mm length, 1900 mm width, 1680 mm height, 2825 mm wheelbase), and is available with either 18- or 20-inch alloy wheels. What’s changed is under the skin.
The all-electric version now runs on an 800V high-voltage architecture paired with a larger 74.9 kWh LFP battery, delivering an improved CLTC range of 605 km. Power has been bumped up to 220 kW (295 hp), a 67 hp increase from the outgoing model, and 0-100 km/h acceleration has been shaved down to 5.9 seconds.
Inside, the new C10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip for smoother infotainment, and also gains LiDAR-based features, an updated wireless charging pad (50W), and new electrically-operated door handles. A new purple body colour is also being introduced for 2026.
For buyers who prefer the EREV (Extended Range Electric Vehicle) variant, the powertrain remains unchanged. Pricing in China starts from 129,800 yuan for the EREV and 139,800 yuan for the EV version.
With the original Leapmotor C10 already available in Nepal, expectations are high that the updated 2026 model will follow suit.
