Jinpeng Lingbox EC01 Electric Compact Hatchback Launched in Nepal
The Jinpeng Lingbox EC01, a compact electric hatchback, has officially entered the Nepali market with two variants to choose from. The base variant is priced at Rs. 19.99 lakh, with a special NADA Auto Show offer of Rs. 18.99 lakh, while the premium variant comes in at Rs. 24.99 lakh, or Rs. 23.49 lakh during the Auto Show period.
In terms of dimensions, the EC01 measures 3,584 mm in length, 1,475 mm in width, and 1,666 mm in height, riding on a wheelbase of 2,455 mm. Despite its compact footprint, the hatchback offers seating for four passengers and a 293-liter boot capacity. Ground clearance is an impressive 200 mm, as claimed by the company.
Powering the Jinpeng Lingbox EC01 is a 35 kW motor that generates 105 Nm of torque, paired with a front-wheel-drive layout. The car gets a 19.2 kWh LFP battery, with support for DC fast charging. Performance-wise, the hatchback can reach a maximum speed of 101 km/h.
Driving range differs by variant: the base model delivers up to 240 km on a single charge (NEDC), while the premium variant extends the range to 340 km.
