Bajaj Nepal has officially introduced its latest electric scooter, the Chetak 3501, in Nepal—marking the model’s first international launch. Priced at Rs. 3,24,900, the Chetak 3501 is now open for bookings at the Chetak Customer Experience Zone in Naxal, Kathmandu.
The Chetak 3501 comes with a powerful 3.5 kWh battery that can travel up to 153 km on a single charge. It supports fast charging, reaching 80% charge in just three hours.
Built with a full-metal body and water-resistant features (IP67 rated), the scooter is designed to handle Nepal’s diverse terrain. It also offers a spacious 35-litre under-seat storage, made possible by a new floorboard battery design that enhances both comfort and space.
Riders can also choose to add a special TecPac upgrade, which brings in smart features like a touchscreen console with navigation, music control, document storage, and call management. It also includes advanced safety options such as remote immobilization, guide-me-home lights, anti-theft features, geo-fencing, and accident alerts.
Mr. Manish Thapar, Vice President of the Asia Region at Bajaj Auto, said that the launch of the Chetak 3501 in Nepal shows their commitment to expanding electric mobility in international markets. He added that the scooter is designed for young, tech-savvy riders and brings together modern technology with the classic Chetak style.
