Yatri Teases All-New ‘Made in Nepal’ Electric Scooter

Yatri Motorcycles has unveiled a teaser image of its upcoming electric scooter, developed in partnership with Sipradi Trading. Shared under the title 'P2 Design Presentation', the teaser provides a subtle yet intriguing preview of what’s to come.

The image offers an early look at the scooter’s rear motor hub, prominently displaying the Made in Nepal emblem - a nod to the project’s emphasis on homegrown innovation and local manufacturing. To the left of the motor casing, part of the disc brake and rear wheel assembly is visible, hinting at the scooter’s likely performance-oriented features. 

Announced in June 2024, the P2 project marks a strategic joint venture between Yatri Motorcycles and Sipradi. The initiative aims to transform Nepal’s electric two-wheeler market through a blend of advanced design, engineering excellence, and domestic production capabilities. Yatri contributes cutting-edge EV expertise, while Sipradi brings over four decades of automotive experience and a robust manufacturing backbone.

The upcoming scooter is expected to deliver a compelling mix of sleek design, strong performance, and affordability—essential attributes for widespread adoption in the local market. This partnership signals a bold new chapter for Nepal’s EV ecosystem, with the P2 scooter poised to raise the bar in the segment.
