Verge Motorcycles, a Finnish electric motorcycle manufacturer known for its distinctive hubless rear-wheel design, has introduced a major update to its flagship TS Pro, pushing electric two-wheelers into new technological territory.

Unveiled at CES 2026, the latest TS Pro becomes the world’s first production motorcycle to feature a solid-state battery, a development that could significantly reshape expectations around range, charging speed, and battery safety.

The most important change comes from the new solid-state battery developed in partnership with Donut Lab. Unlike conventional lithium-ion batteries that rely on liquid electrolytes, this system uses solid materials, allowing for higher energy density and improved durability in extreme operating conditions.

Buyers will be able to choose between two battery configurations. The standard 20.2 kWh pack delivers a claimed range of around 350 km, while a larger 33.3 kWh unit extends the riding range to approximately 600 km on a single charge.

Fast-charging capability is equally impressive, with support for CCS2 charging at up to 200 kW. Under optimal conditions, the TS Pro can recover up to 80 percent of its battery in roughly 10 minutes, with as much as 300 km of range added during a short fast-charging stop.

Power continues to come from Verge’s signature hubless rear-wheel motor, now upgraded to the Donut Motor 2.0. While peak output remains unchanged, the new motor is significantly lighter, reducing weight by nearly half compared to its predecessor.

The electric motor produces 138 hp and a massive 1,000 Nm of torque, enabling the TS Pro to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds, placing it firmly in the performance motorcycle category.

Design-wise, the updated TS Pro remains visually close to the outgoing model, retaining its aggressive supernaked styling and minimalist construction. However, Verge has refined the riding experience with larger and clearer digital displays and a revised riding position.

The updated 25-degree posture is intended to improve comfort without compromising the bike’s sporty character, making it more suitable for longer rides.

In global markets, the Verge TS Pro is positioned as a premium performance motorcycle, with pricing comparable to high-end petrol-powered models such as the Ducati Streetfighter V4.
