TVS Motor Company has officially stepped into the adventure touring segment with the launch of its first ADV motorcycle, the TVS Apache RTX 300, in India. Following its Indian debut, the motorcycle is expected to launch in the Nepalese market by April–May, based on TVS’s strong market presence in Nepal.

Powering the Apache RTX 300 is an all-new 299cc liquid-cooled, DOHC RT-XD4 engine that produces 35.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 28.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, making it the second most powerful Apache motorcycle after the RR 310.

The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, along with an assist and slipper clutch and a bi-directional quickshifter, ensuring refined performance across highways, city roads, and off-road trails.

The motorcycle is built on a new steel trellis frame and is equipped with WP inverted front forks and a rear monoshock offering 180mm of suspension travel, delivering stability and comfort over long distances and rough terrain.

Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, while the bike offers a ground clearance of 200mm. With a kerb weight of 180 kg and a seat height of 835mm, the Apache RTX 300 maintains a practical balance between touring capability and rider accessibility.

In terms of features, the Apache RTX 300 comes loaded with modern electronics, including four riding modes — Urban, Rain, Tour, and Rally — cruise control, switchable traction control, and a 5-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

Through TVS SmartXonnect, riders get access to Google Maps mirroring, call and SMS notifications, ride analytics, and other connected features. Higher variants additionally offer adjustable suspension and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

The motorcycle is offered in five colour options — Viper Green, Metallic Blue, Pearl White, Lightning Black, and Tarn Bronze.

For touring-focused riders, TVS has collaborated with Givi to offer accessories such as panniers, top boxes, and tank bags, while a partnership with Alpinestars brings co-branded adventure riding gear including helmets, gloves, and boots.

Although TVS has not officially confirmed the Nepal launch date, the Apache RTX 300 is expected to arrive in Nepal by April–May, making it one of the most anticipated adventure motorcycles in the country for 2026.

Once launched in Nepal, the RTX 300 is expected to be positioned competitively within the mid-capacity adventure touring segment.
