Tata Motors has updated the Nexon EV with a Level-2 advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), now available in a new top-spec Empowered Plus A trim.
Alongside this, the carmaker has introduced the #Dark edition, with the Red #Dark edition also receiving the ADAS suite. The new variant now comes with rear window sunshades and ambient lighting in the cabin, giving the interior a modern, premium feel.
The L2 ADAS-equipped Nexon EV brings an array of safety and driver-assist technologies, including lane keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, traffic sign recognition, lane centering system, lane departure warning, forward collision warning, and high beam assist.

Additional features include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, rear sun blinds, ambient lighting, and V2V and V2L capabilities.
The electric SUV was already generously equipped with features such as a 10.25-inch digital driver display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 9-speaker JBL audio system, ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger, and automatic climate control.
Safety is also comprehensive, with six airbags, electronic stability control, ISOFIX mounts, a 360-degree camera, and now, L2 ADAS functionality.
Underneath, the Nexon EV continues to be powered by a 45kWh battery pack paired with a single electric motor that produces 143bhp and 215Nm of torque, delivering a claimed range of 489 km on a single charge.
