Sajha Yatayat to Operate Shuttle Service Between Kathmandu and Narayangadh for Dashain Travelers

Sajha Yatayat has announced the operation of special shuttle bus services between Kathmandu and Narayangadh for travelers heading home to celebrate Dashain with their families.

The cooperative has stated that the shuttle buses will operate daily until October 6, 2025 (Ashwin 20, 2082 BS), starting from the Pulchowk-based Sajha Yatayat office. The service is aimed at providing passengers with safe, reliable, and affordable transportation during the festive rush.

Bus Departure Points

Buses will depart from Pulchowk Sajha Yatayat Office, with pickup points at Lagankhel, Satdobato, Koteshwor, Gaushala, Chakrapath, Gongabu Buspark, and Kalanki.

Bus Schedule
  • From Kalanki: Buses will leave starting at 7 AM, every hour until 12 noon.
  • From Narayangadh: Return buses will depart after the incoming buses from Kathmandu reach Narayangadh Buspark.
Fare and Rules

A flat fare of Rs 300 per passenger has been fixed for the Kathmandu–Narayangadh route. Tickets must be purchased in advance from Sajha counters.

Sajha Yatayat has urged passengers to maintain discipline and support the smooth operation of services during the festive season. The cooperative said it is committed to making this year’s Dashain travel safer and more convenient by expanding its shuttle services.
