Jagdamba Motors Pvt. Ltd., the official distributor of Proton vehicles in Nepal, has announced the expansion of its nationwide network with four new showroom and service centres following the official launch of its compact electric SUV, the Proton e.MAS 5.
As part of the expansion initiative, Jagdamba Motors officially inaugurated a new showroom and service centre at Radhe-Radhe, Bhaktapur on Tuesday. The new facility features modern infrastructure and upgraded service facilities, positioning it as one of Proton’s most advanced customer touchpoints in Nepal.
The company has further announced that three additional showrooms will be inaugurated next week in Birgunj, Janakpur, and Nepalgunj. With these additions, Proton aims to strengthen its presence across key markets and improve accessibility to its products and after-sales services for customers nationwide.
Prior to this expansion, Jagdamba Motors was already providing Proton sales and service support through seven locations across Nepal, including Naxal, Thapathali, Biratnagar, Chitwan, Pokhara, Butwal, and Dhangadhi.
According to Jagdamba Motors, the network expansion is part of its long-term strategy to establish Proton as a customer-focused electric vehicle brand in Nepal.

The company stated that the growing demand for electric vehicles has encouraged the brand to enhance its sales and service infrastructure, ensuring easier access to Proton products and ownership support throughout the country.
The expansion comes shortly after the launch of the Proton e.MAS 5, the brand’s first electric vehicle introduced in Nepal. The compact EV SUV enters one of the most competitive segments in the Nepali automotive market, targeting buyers looking for premium features and advanced technology at an accessible price point.
The Proton e.MAS 5, launched with an introductory price of Rs. 29.99 lakh, is positioned beyond a value-focused EV offering. The model aims to redefine expectations in the Rs. 30–35 lakh electric vehicle segment by offering features typically associated with higher-priced EVs.
The e.MAS 5 comes equipped with a Rear-Wheel-Drive (RWD) architecture, multi-link independent rear suspension, a large 14.6-inch HD infotainment display, Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), and a practical 70-litre front trunk (frunk). These features make it one of the most feature-rich offerings in its segment.
With the launch of the e.MAS 5 and the expansion of its showroom and service network, Proton is aiming to build stronger brand confidence among Nepali customers while accelerating its growth in the country’s rapidly expanding electric vehicle market.
