MAW Vriddhi Motors has officially launched the Nammi Vigo E2 variant in Nepal at Rs. 35.99 lakh, expanding the electric SUV lineup with a more affordable option ahead of the NADA Auto Show 2026.
The new Vigo E2 sits below the existing Nammi Vigo E2+, which is priced at Rs. 43 lakh. The higher-spec E2+ adds features such as a moonroof and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Despite its lower positioning, the E2 retains several key features of the Vigo, including a 51.87 kWh LFP battery, 350 km WLTP range and DJI-powered Level 2 ADAS.
The Nammi Vigo E2 measures 4,306 mm in length, 1,868 mm in width and 1,654 mm in height, with a 2,715 mm wheelbase and 190 mm of ground clearance.
Powered by a 99 kW electric motor, the Vigo E2 gets a 51.87 kWh LFP battery to provide a claimed WLTP range of up to 350 km. The E2 supports high-speed DC fast charging with liquid cooling and can charge up to 80 percent in around 18 minutes, making it more practical for longer journeys.
The Nammi Vigo E2 comes equipped with front, side and curtain airbags, ISOFIX child-seat mounts and a tyre-pressure monitoring system. Its electronic safety suite includes ABS, EBD/CBC, Hill-start Assist, ESC, brake assist and traction control.
The E2 also gets DJI-powered Level 2 ADAS, bringing a comprehensive range of driver-assistance technologies. These include Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Control and Intelligent Cruise Assist. The latter combines Traffic Jam Assist and Highway Assist functions.
The ADAS package is supported by front and rear radars, a 360-degree panoramic camera and adaptive cruise control, while the SUV also offers Comfort, Eco and Sport driving modes.
Inside, the Vigo E2 features an 8.88-inch full-LCD instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch central touchscreen. Other features include keyless entry, a wireless smartphone charger, Bluetooth, AM/FM radio, Apple CarPlay, a six-speaker audio system and voice-control functionality for navigation, phone calls, air conditioning and power windows.
The cabin is equipped with heated, ventilated and memory-function driver seats, flat-folding front seats, central armrests, rear cup holders and rear A/C vents. Other convenience features include automatic LED headlights with adaptive high/low beam, music-synchronised ambient lighting, anti-pinch power windows and heated, auto-folding electric ORVMs.
The electric SUV uses a McPherson independent front suspension and torsion-beam rear suspension. Braking is handled by disc brakes at both the front and rear, while the E2 also gets an electronic parking brake with Auto Hold. It rides on 215/60 R17 tyres with aluminium alloy wheels.
With the launch of the E2, Nammi has expanded the Vigo lineup into a more accessible price bracket while retaining features such as a 350 km WLTP range, fast charging and Level 2 ADAS, giving the electric SUV stronger positioning in Nepal's increasingly competitive EV market.
