Mitsubishi Motors has unveiled the Mitsubishi Elevance Concept, an electrified crossover SUV, at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show.
The concept hints at the direction of the next-generation Pajero, combining electrification with Mitsubishi’s signature all-wheel control technologies and embodies the brand’s “Forever Adventure” spirit.
The Elevance Concept features a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) system with a carbon-neutral fuel-compatible engine and a large-capacity traction battery. For everyday driving, it runs quietly as a full electric vehicle, while its hybrid capability supports longer trips without range anxiety.

Mitsubishi’s quad-motor 4WD system, integrating front in-wheel motors and rear dual-motor Active Yaw Control (AYC), promises excellent steering stability, road handling, and off-road confidence.
The Mitsubishi Elevance Concept features a sleek, futuristic design with a muscular lower body and flowing character lines. Its Dynamic Shield grille exudes strength, while large windows offer panoramic views. Built on a robust, rib-bone-inspired structure, the SUV combines elegance, safety, and off-road readiness.

Inside, the concept focuses on luxury and adventure. A three-row, six-passenger cabin with high-quality leather seats offers comfort on long journeys, while a seamless instrument panel with a wide display ensures intuitive vehicle control.
The innovative AI Co-Driver suggests personalized destinations and optimal driving modes, making each trip a tailored adventure. Even trailer-equipped glamping setups can be powered by the PHEV system, turning remote locations into mobile retreats.

With its futuristic design, electrified powertrain, and intelligent technologies, the Elevance Concept offers a glimpse of what Mitsubishi’s next Pajero could become: a rugged, refined, and eco-friendly SUV built for both urban roads and off-road exploration.
