The much-awaited Deepal S05 Compact Electric SUV will be showcased at the upcoming NADA Auto Show 2025 in Kathmandu, starting August 19.
Following the success of the Deepal S07, which has already established itself well in the Nepalese market, the S05 is expected to continue the brand’s growing presence here.
First launched in China in October 2024, the S05 received strong interest with over 21,000 pre-orders in its first month. It later won the “Best EV SUV” award at the 46th Bangkok International Motor Show, praised for its design and features like frameless doors, panoramic glass roof, and rear-wheel-drive setup.
For Nepal, the Deepal S05 will be offered exclusively as a pure battery electric vehicle, assembled in Thailand. It is expected to be priced in the NPR 50 to 70 lakh range, targeting buyers looking for a mid-size electric SUV with advanced technology.
Key features include a 15.4-inch infotainment display, augmented reality head-up display, ambient lighting, vehicle-to-load capability, and advanced driver assistance systems such as lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, and remote parking. The model also offers a large panoramic roof and a 160-litre front trunk for added practicality.
The NADA Auto Show 2025 will mark the first official public display of the Deepal S05 in Nepal.
