China’s largest vehicle exporter, Chery, continues its strong global momentum this year, posting record-breaking export figures and expanding its international footprint.
According to CNEV Post, Chery Group exported 1.06 million vehicles between January and October 2025, marking a 12.9% year-on-year increase.
In October alone, the company shipped 126,434 vehicles, sustaining a streak of six consecutive months with over 100,000 units exported. This performance cements Chery’s position at the top of China’s auto export rankings.
The European market has emerged as a key growth pillar for Chery’s global expansion. Between January and October, the automaker sold 171,147 vehicles across the EU and UK — a massive 240% year-on-year surge. Chery’s multi-brand strategy, including Omoda, Jaecoo, and the core Chery brand, is proving successful in markets such as Spain, Italy, and the UK.
In Nepal, Chery’s Omoda and Jaecoo has already gained attention for their design and electric offerings. The company is also preparing to introduce iCaur, further expanding its EV portfolio in the country’s growing electric mobility landscape.
Currently, Chery’s global user base exceeds 18 million, with more than 5.56 million of them located overseas — a testament to the brand’s fast-rising international appeal.
