Changan has officially unveiled the Nevo A06 in China, a medium-to-large sedan available in both BEV and EREV variants, marking its debut as the first sedan built on the company’s advanced SDA (Super DNA) platform, in China.

The BEV variant will be offered in two motor configurations: a high-power version producing 210 kW and a lower-power option delivering 120 kW.

Buyers can choose between three lithium iron phosphate battery packs—42.12 kWh, 51.48 kWh, and 63.18 kWh—offering CLTC ranges of 420 km, 510 km, and 630 km respectively. The high-power version accelerates from 0–60 km/h in just 6 seconds and runs on an 800V high-voltage SiC platform.

With a drag coefficient of just 0.217 Cd, it also integrates lidar on the roof, supported by three millimeter-wave radars, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 11 cameras to deliver Level 2 advanced driver assistance capabilities.

Measuring 4,885 mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,922 mm, the sedan surpasses many mainstream rivals in its class. Its exterior design emphasizes aesthetics and aerodynamics, featuring frameless doors, frameless side mirrors, hidden window trims, and semi-hidden mechanical door handles.

Up front, a striking 2,258 mm through-type LED headlight strip, comprising 236 LEDs, creates a distinctive “smiley face” effect. Structurally, the Nevo A06 adopts an aluminum double wishbone and rear five-link suspension setup.

One of the Nevo A06’s highlights is its 6C fast-charging battery, which Changan claims can recharge at a rate equivalent to 1 km per second. The sedan is expected to enter the market later this year.
