Ather Nepal Records Over 500 Bookings at NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026

Ather Nepal, under Vaidya Energy Pvt. Ltd., recorded more than 500 bookings during the NAIMA Mobility Expo 2026, reflecting the response to its electric scooter lineup and growing ownership ecosystem in Nepal.

The bookings were recorded over the six-day expo, where Ather displayed its latest scooters, technology and EV ownership infrastructure.

The company used the event to highlight areas including battery assurance, after-sales service, charging infrastructure and connected technology.

Ather's Eight70 Warranty offers battery coverage of up to eight years or 80,000 km, with an assurance of maintaining at least 70 percent battery health, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Battery longevity and replacement costs remain among the concerns for consumers considering electric vehicles, making warranty coverage an important part of the overall ownership proposition.

Ather has also expanded its after-sales and charging network in Nepal, with more than 10 authorized service centers and over 50 fast-charging locations. The company says the growing infrastructure is intended to support customers beyond the initial vehicle purchase.

The Ather 450 Overtone Series, which was recently introduced in Nepal, was among the products displayed at the expo. The series features technologies including Magic Twist, which uses throttle input for regenerative braking, along with Infinite Cruise and Voice on Ather.

The expo also provided customers with an opportunity to explore Ather's wider product range, including models from the 450 Series and Rizta family.

According to Ather Nepal, the booking response at the expo indicates that customers are increasingly considering factors beyond the vehicle itself when choosing an electric scooter, including battery warranty, service availability, charging infrastructure and technology.
