ZXMoto 500RR Launched in Nepal at Rs 16.95 Lakh: 470cc Inline-Four Supersport with 84 HP

ZXMoto 500RR has been launched in Nepa at a price of Rs 16.95 Lakh (original price - Rs 18.50 Lakh), bringing a 470cc inline-four supersport motorcycle with 84 hp, a lightweight 168 kg kerb weight and track-focused chassis technology to the Nepalese market. 

The 500RR is powered by a 470cc, four-cylinder, DOHC, 16-valve, liquid-cooled engine with a 12.9:1 compression ratio. The engine produces 84 hp at 13,500 rpm and 46 Nm of torque at 11,500 rpm, with Bosch EFI and a wet multi-plate slipper clutch.

ZXMoto claims the 500RR can reach a top speed of 235 km/h and accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds, putting its performance in the territory of larger 600cc-class sport bikes.

The motorcycle uses an integrated steel trellis diamond frame with an aluminium single-sided swingarm. At 168 kg kerb weight, the 500RR focuses on lightweight construction, with the aluminium swingarm and other components helping reduce unsprung mass.

The ZXMoto 500RR measures 2,005 mm in length, 705 mm in width and 1,125 mm in height, with a 1,395 mm wheelbase and an 800 mm seat height. It also gets adjustable rake and anti-squat angles for chassis tuning.

Suspension duties are handled by a 41 mm inverted front fork with fully adjustable preload and damping, paired with a fully adjustable rear setup.

Braking comes from 300 mm dual floating front discs with four-piston opposed calipers and a 220 mm rear disc with a two-piston opposed caliper. The motorcycle also features cornering ABS with a six-axis IMU for improved stability during aggressive riding.

The 500RR rides on CST S5 semi-slick tyres, measuring 120/70 ZR17 at the front and 180/55 ZR17 at the rear, mounted on lightweight aluminium alloy wheels.

With its high-revving inline-four engine, 84 hp output, 168 kg kerb weight, fully adjustable suspension and six-axis IMU-supported cornering ABS, the ZXMoto 500RR enters Nepal as a lightweight middleweight supersport focused on both road and track performance.
