Yamaha WR 155R Dual-Purpose Motorcycle Launched in Nepal at Rs 7.49 Lakh
Yamaha Nepal has officially introduced the WR 155R dual-purpose motorcycle to the Nepali market, priced at Rs 7.49 Lakh. The launch event took place at Dirt Temple, Dhulikhel, where adventure enthusiasts and Yamaha customers gathered for an exclusive Dirt Track Experience.
During the event, Mr. Deepak Kumar Agrawal, Executive Director & CEO of Yamaha Nepal, personally handed over the WR 155R keys to customers in a bulk key handover ceremony.
To enhance the experience, Yamaha also organized Dirt Riding Training, teaching participants essential off-road riding skills. Afterward, riders had the chance to put their newfound abilities to the test on an open Dirt Track, fully experiencing the WR 155R's capabilities in real-world conditions.
The Yamaha WR 155R features a 155cc Liquid-Cooled, VVA Engine that delivers 16.7 PS and 14.3 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike measures 2145mm in length, 840mm in width, and 1200mm in height, with a wheelbase of 1430mm and a ground clearance of 245mm. Its seat height is 880mm, and it has a fuel tank capacity of 8.1 liters, while the kerb weight is 134 kg.
The WR 155R comes equipped with dual-purpose tires with aluminum rims, a multi-function LCD speedometer, double disc brakes, and more.
