Tata Punch EV Facelift Launched in Nepal at Rs 32.99 Lakh: Price, Range and Features
Tata Punch EV Facelift has been launched in Nepal during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026 at a starting price of Rs 32.99 lakh for the 30 kWh version, available at this introductory price only during NAIMA.
The price will later increase to Rs 33.99 lakh, while the facelifted electric SUV brings refreshed styling, improved range and updated features to Tata’s lineup. The Empowered 40 kWh variant is priced at Rs 36.99 lakh, while the top-spec Empowered+ S 40 kWh variant is priced at Rs 37.99 lakh.
For the Nepalese market, the Punch EV facelift will be offered with two battery options — 30 kWh and 40 kWh. Both versions are powered by a single front-mounted electric motor that drives the front wheels.
The 40 kWh version produces 129 hp and 154 Nm of torque, with an ARAI-certified range of 468 km. Meanwhile, the 30 kWh version delivers 88 hp and 154 Nm. The larger battery is rated for a real-world (C75) range of around 355 km, while the 30 kWh version offers an ARAI-rated range of 365 km.
Performance has also received an upgrade, with Tata claiming a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under nine seconds. The electric SUV delivers a 32 percent restart gradeability figure, allowing it to handle steep inclines with greater confidence.
It continues to feature three drive modes — City, Eco, and Sport — along with four levels of regenerative braking, which can be adjusted through paddle shifters.
Charging capability has been improved as well. With a 65 kW DC fast charger, the Punch EV facelift can charge from 20 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes. Tata claims a 15-minute charging session can add up to 135 km of range.
The updated battery and powertrain system also bring improved efficiency through reduced component count, simplified wiring, and better thermal management.
The Punch EV facelift gets a cleaner design inspired by the latest ICE-powered Punch, featuring a redesigned front bumper, closed-off grille, new 16-inch alloy wheels, updated colour options, and connected LED tail lamps.
It continues to offer 195 mm of ground clearance and 450 mm of water-wading capability. Inside, the cabin retains its familiar layout with updated trims, while higher variants get a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display.
Depending on the variant, features include wireless charging, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, connected car technology, and a 360-degree camera. Safety equipment includes six airbags as standard, along with electronic stability control, hill-hold assist, tyre pressure monitoring system, high beam assist, and ISOFIX child-seat mounts.
With two battery packs, improved charging capability, refreshed styling, and enhanced technology, the Tata Punch EV facelift strengthens Tata Motors’ electric vehicle portfolio in Nepal while adding more capability to one of the country’s popular compact electric SUVs.
