Jagdamba Motors, the sole authorised distributor of Proton Cars in Nepal, has concluded the introductory booking period for the Proton eMAS 5, following an overwhelming response from customers.
The introductory offer was announced at the time of the eMAS 5’s launch in Nepal, with the first 100 customers eligible to purchase the electric SUV at special introductory prices. With the allocated booking period now over, the offer has officially ended.
Under the introductory scheme, the Proton eMAS 5 Prime was available at Rs 29.99 lakh, while the Premium variant was offered at Rs 34.99 lakh. The regular prices of the two variants are Rs 32.99 lakh for the Prime and Rs 36.99 lakhfor the Premium.
The strong customer response comes shortly after the eMAS 5 made its debut in Nepal as Proton's second all-electric model in the market. The compact electric SUV is positioned with a rear-wheel-drive layout and multi-link rear suspension, with the range comprising Prime and Premium variants.
The Prime variant is powered by a 58 kW electric motor paired with a 30.12 kWh CATL LFP battery, offering a WLTP-certified range of up to 225 km. The Premium gets a more powerful 85 kW motor and a 40.16 kWh CATL LFP battery, with a WLTP range of up to 325 km.
The eMAS 5 also supports DC fast charging, taking the battery from 30% to 80% in around 21 minutes. Both variants feature 3.3 kW Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality, allowing the vehicle to supply power to external electrical devices.
Measuring 4,135 mm in length, 1,805 mm in width and 1,580 mm in height, the eMAS 5 has a 2,650 mm wheelbaseand 175 mm ground clearance. The Prime accelerates from 0–50 km/h in 4.4 seconds, while the Premium manages the same sprint in 3.9 seconds.
Safety equipment includes six airbags as standard across both variants, while the Premium adds a comprehensive Level 2 ADAS package.
With the introductory booking window now closed, customers looking to purchase the eMAS 5 will have to opt for the regular pricing, unless Jagdamba Motors announces a new offer or campaign.
