Nissan Motor India has launched the all-new Gravite, a seven-seater MPV positioned as a pivotal model in the company’s renewed India strategy, with introductory prices starting at INR 5.65 lakh.
The Gravite MPV combines elevated proportions, strong body lines and high ground clearance with Nissan’s signature C-shaped design elements to establish a contemporary but recognisable MPV-ish design language.
Features such as full LED lighting, a piano-black grille, pronounced wheel arches and wide-opening doors characterise the design.

Inside the cabin, Nissan has prioritised modularity and family comfort, offering flexible seating configurations for two to seven occupants.
The removable third-row seats allow luggage capacity up to 625 litres in five-seat mode, while premium suede and leatherette upholstery, generous cabin dimensions and three-row air-conditioning are designed to enhance comfort.
Technology features include an 8-inch floating infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, a digital instrument cluster, wireless charging and smart convenience functions such as walk-away locking and approach unlock.

Safety duties are taken care of by more than 30 standard safety features, including six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, hill-start assist and ABS with EBD, intended to deliver confidence across urban and highway driving scenarios.

Powering the Gravite is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque, paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed AMT.
Fuel efficiency figures are rated at 19.6 km/l for the AMT and 19.3 km/l for the manual. The company positions the powertrain as tuned for predictable and refined driving suited to typical family usage.

Nissan's future product roadmap that includes the Tekton C-SUV planned for mid-2026 and an additional seven-seater C-SUV in early 2027.
