New Tata Tiago EV Launched in Nepal at Rs 28.99 Lakh; Price, Range and Features

The updated Tata Tiago EV has been launched in Nepal at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, with prices starting at Rs 28.99 lakh. The refreshed electric hatchback brings updated styling, upgraded technology, enhanced safety features and faster charging to the Nepalese market. The top-spec variant is priced at Rs 29.99 lakh.

The updated Tiago EV continues with a 24 kWh battery pack, producing 75 hp and 114 Nm of torque. The battery delivers an MIDC-certified range of up to 285 km, while Tata claims a real-world C75 range of around 205–215 km.

The electric hatchback gets a refreshed exterior inspired by Tata’s latest EV design language. It features redesigned LED headlamps, new LED daytime running lights and a closed-off body-coloured grille, along with a redesigned front bumper.

The updated Tiago EV also gets newly designed 14-inch wheels with contrasting wheel-arch cladding. At the rear, connected LED tail lamps and a revised bumper give the hatchback a more contemporary appearance. Other exterior elements include a dual-tone black roof, shark-fin antenna and chrome-finished door handles.

Inside, the Tiago EV gets a redesigned dual-tone dashboard with Tata’s 26.03 cm Ultra View HD touchscreen infotainment system and a part-digital TFT instrument cluster.

The infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, while the updated electronic architecture adds connected car technology and other convenience features. The cabin also gets automatic climate control with rear AC vents, cruise control, a rotary drive selector, a front armrest with storage and a cooled glovebox.

Safety has been upgraded with six airbags as standard, along with a 360-degree surround-view camera system. The Tiago EV also gets Electronic Stability Program with traction control, hill-hold control, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and follow-me-home headlamps.

Charging performance has received a significant improvement, with the updated Tiago EV now supporting 30 kW DC fast charging. Tata claims the battery can charge from 10 to 80 percent in around 35 minutes, while an 18-minute charging session can add approximately 100 km of range.

The Tiago EV continues to support 3.3 kW and 7.2 kW AC charging options. It also gets four levels of regenerative braking and three driving modes — City, Sport and Drive.

With its refreshed design, upgraded cabin, 360-degree camera, six airbags, improved connectivity and faster DC charging, the updated Tata Tiago EV strengthens Tata Motors’ electric hatchback offering in Nepal while adding more technology and convenience to the existing package.
