Nammi EV Launched in Chitwan

MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Dongfeng EVs in Nepal, has introduced its premium electric hatchback, Nammi, in Chitwan.

The Nammi EV is available in three variants—Nammi E1, Nammi E2, and Nammi E3—priced at NPR 30.24 lakh, NPR 32.49 lakh, and NPR 35.99 lakh, respectively.

It comes with two battery options: a 31.4 kWh battery offering up to 330 km (CLTC) or 237 km (WLTP) range, and a 42.3 kWh battery providing up to 430 km (CLTC) or 317 km (WLTP). Both variants are powered by a 70 kW Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor.

The Nammi EV stands out with segment-leading features such as Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 12.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 17-inch tires, and a 360° Vision System. It also includes advanced safety features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Automatic Emergency Braking, contributing to its C-NCAP 5-star rating.

Measuring 4030 mm in length, 1810 mm in width, and 1570 mm in height, with a 2660 mm wheelbase, the Nammi EV is the largest in its segment. Its spacious interior boasts premium features such as frameless doors, memory seating, multi-colour ambient lighting, and external discharge capability, etc. 

The launch event was attended by Mr. Suman Shrestha, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Kapil Sagar Karmacharya, Managing Director of Euro Automotive; Mr. Prashanna Panta, Business Head of MAW Vriddhi Motors; Mr. Rajendra Sigdel, Sales Head of MAW Vriddhi Motors; Mr. Shankhar Giri, President of Ratnanagar Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Mr. Rajan Piya, President of CADA; and Mr. Gopal Bhattarai, President of the Chitwan Chamber of Commerce, who collectively unveiled the Nammi EV.
