MAW Vriddhi celebrated a significant milestone as the Nammi EV surpassed 1,000 units on the road — a feat achieved in just 14 months — reinforcing its position as one of Nepal’s fastest-growing premium electric hatchbacks.
The celebration took place at Alice Reception in Kathmandu, where a ceremony was held in the presence of media, guests, and MAW Vriddhi leadership.
The event was graced by Mr. Vishnu Agarwal – Chairman, MAW Vriddhi, Mr. Vivek Sikaria – Managing Director, MAW Vriddhi, Mr. Parth Sikaria – Director, MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, Mr. Prashannaa Panta – CEO, MAW Vriddhi Motors, along with dealer partners.
Launched on August 22, 2024 almost 14 months ago , Nammi made a grand entry into Nepal’s EV market and was a showstopper at the NADA Auto Show 2024, appreciated by customers for its segment-first features such as the Welcoming Seat, Auto Parking, Frameless Door, flush handle and segment-best technologies including Level 2 ADAS, Wireless Charging, and Ventilated Seats and more.
The Nammi comes with two battery options: a 31.4 kWh unit providing a range of up to 330 km (CLTC) or 237 km (WLTP) and a 42.3 kWh battery extending the range to 430 km (CLTC) or 317 km (WLTP), both paired with a 70 kW PMSM motor.
Additional features include proximity lock/unlock, multicolor ambient lighting, a flat-folding front seat, a 945L expandable boot space, a fully automatic parking system, and three driving modes (Normal, Eco, Sport).
The Nammi EV is priced at Rs 30,24,000 for the E1 model, Rs 32,49,000 for the E2 model, and Rs 35,99,000 for the E3 model.
