Maruti Suzuki India Limited has reached a significant milestone by producing 1 crore vehicles at its Manesar facility in Haryana.
This achievement makes Manesar the fastest Suzuki plant globally to reach this figure in just 18 years. The landmark vehicle is a Maruti Suzuki Brezza, one of the company's most popular models in the Indian market.
The Manesar plant, which has been in operation since 2006, spans 600 acres and currently manufactures vehicles like the Brezza, Ertiga, XL6, Ciaz, Dzire, Wagon R, S-Presso, and Celerio. These models are available in the domestic market and are also exported internationally.
Since its founding, Maruti Suzuki has produced over 3.11 crore vehicles and has an annual production capacity of 23.5 lakh units.
