Jetour Opens Pre-Bookings in Nepal; T1, T2 Prices Announced

Jetour has opened pre-bookings in Nepal and inaugurated its showroom in Thapathali, Kathmandu, as the Chinese SUV brand prepares to establish its presence in the local market. Laxmi Motorhub, under Laxmi Group, is the sole authorised distributor of Jetour in Nepal.

The company has set the starting price of the Jetour T1 at Rs. 1,42,96,000, while both the ICE and PHEV variants of the Jetour T2 are priced at Rs. 1,55,96,000.

Jetour was initially expected to make its Nepal debut at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, followed by plans to showcase its models at the NADA Auto Show 2026. However, delays in vehicle arrivals and disruptions along our northern trade corridor pushed back its planned introduction.

The T2 sports a boxy design, a high bonnet and prominent wheel arches, giving it a rugged, adventure-ready stance. Inside, it features a large infotainment touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof and advanced driver-assistance systems.

The T2 PHEV pairs a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with an electric motor and a three-speed Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), delivering a claimed 360 hp and 610 Nm of torque. It gets an 18.4 kWh LFP battery, offering an electric-only range of up to 90 km under the NEDC cycle, while the claimed combined range stands at around 1,100 km.

The Jetour T1 PHEV, meanwhile, will arrive in Nepal at a later date due to disruptions along the Mustang trade corridor. Priced at Rs.1,42,96,000, the T1 will sit below the T2 in the brand's initial lineup, offering a slightly more compact package while retaining the same rugged SUV styling.

The T1 PHEV uses a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with a plug-in hybrid system, producing a claimed 335 hp and 530 Nm of torque. It features a 26.7 kWh LFP battery, with a claimed electric-only range of around 117 km under the WLTC cycle and a total driving range of up to 1,200 km.

The T1 measures 4,705 mm in length and has a 2,800 mm wheelbase, with seating for five. Its international equipment list includes a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a panoramic sunroof, Level 2 ADAS and vehicle-to-load (V2L) capability.

Jetour is a Chinese SUV brand under Chery Holding Group, with a portfolio spanning conventional petrol-powered vehicles, hybrids and new-energy SUVs.

With pre-bookings now open, prices announced and its Thapathali showroom inaugurated, the brand is moving closer to entering Nepal's competitive SUV market.
